Pledge Manager Has Launched!

Dear tasty foodfolk of Silverplate,

We have launched the pledge manager for Silverplate on Backerkit! In this update, we wanted to provide some details on this topic, as well as a short report on our progress on the books since our last update.

Smoke Test Sent

Before sending the surveys to everyone, it is standard procedure for Backerkit to send them to 5% of the backers as a smoke test. This is to make sure everything is going smoothly and there are no issues. So, some of you will be receiving your emails with the survey link 1 day earlier than others, and that’s completely normal. You can expect to get the survey email at these hours tomorrow.

What to Expect From the Survey?

While some of you may be used to the Backerkit pledge manager surveys, some of you may be completely unfamiliar with the process. We will try to explain how it works as clearly as possible, but please don’t hesitate to send us a message if you have questions.

GETTING STARTED

This is the starting page of the survey. Not much to do here but to “Get Started!” Still, please note that you can upgrade your pledge to a new one by clicking on the little “Switch your Pledge Level” button right below the big “Get Started” button.

QUESTIONS SECTION

The first section after the start is the “Questions” section. Here, you answer a couple of questions for us, so that we can have the necessary information for a proper delivery of your rewards.

ADD-ONS SECTION

This is the “add-ons” section. Here, you can get any additional add-ons you wish. The items you add will be reflected to your balance at the right side of the section. Any additional funds required will be charged on Backerkit.

We also have a great range of products from our other titles such as Svilland and Bloodpunk. If you’re interested, you can take a look at them as well.

SHIPPING

In the “Shipping” section, you just provide your shipping details so we can deliver your physical rewards at the fulfillment time. We will lock addresses much later, right before our physical items reach our distribution hubs towards the end of the fulfillment. So if you move from your address, you can always go back to your survey and update your address.

CONFIRMATION SECTION

You finalize your survey by having a look at everything on the confirmation section and entering your card information. Please note, as we mentioned on the Silverplate campaign page on Kickstarter, we will charge for shipping much later, right after the printing phase is complete. You can find the details on our shipping policy as well as its reasons on our campaign page and the questions section of your surveys. At this point, we will only charge your cards for your add-on purchases.

Pledge Manager will be Open for a Month

Our pledge manager store on Backerkit will be open for a month. After that, we will lock the orders and charge the cards for any add-ons purchased. This way, we will also have those who late-pledge or purchase from the pre-order store ready to receive their PDFs and rewards in a timely manner with the rest of the backers. The deadline for locking the orders is the 15th of April.

Updates on Progress

Writing of the campaign setting is still going great! We have finished the gazetteer section (where the geography, history, and other details of the world is) of the campaign setting and have gotten started on the editing phase. We are finishing up on just a few of the sections, but are happy to say that most of the writing work is done.

Dear tasty foodfolk of Silverplate,

Here we are with our first update after the end of our Kickstarter campaign. We know that some time has passed, but we have been busy getting a lot of things done for Silverplate in the meantime!

The Writing is Going Strong!

The writing of the books is going great! We have finished 70% of the campaign setting already, and our artists have started completing many of the artwork! We have thus made great headway, and we hope to continue this momentum on the whole fulfillment process! Here are some samples of the artwork:

Pledge Manager is Launching Soon!

We also wanted to let you know that we will launch the pledge manager quite soon! We believe it will be open by the end of next week. We will also post an update at that time, but we wanted to remind you about some important details about our pledge manager beforehand.

It is important that we remind you (as we’ve stated on our Kickstarter page) that shipping will be charged much later, during or after the printing process. This will allow us to pinpoint the shipping costs rather than take estimates that are subject to change, especially in the current state of global shipping. Although the changes are minimal for individual backers, its cumulative effects tend to be financially heavy for us, and thus we wish to clarify our shipping costs before charging them.

When we send out the surveys upon the launch of the pledge manager, it will remain available for 1.5 months. It is important that you provide your information and add the add-ons you want between now, and then. Yet, no worries, this time period is for locking orders only. You will be able to make changes to your address until we are ready for delivery many months later.

Help for Earthquake Relief

As many of you may have heard, a very devastating earthquake hit Turkey and Syria. Thankfully, we, our family and friends are safe, but many people have been affected by this catastrophe. Currently, the declared death toll is almost over 20 000, with around 100 000 wounded. Sadly, many people are still under the rubble and as we are reaching the end of the emergency hours for survival after an earthquake, their fates are unknown.

In order to help our country and people who were affected by the earthquake, we’ve decided to donate all our profits from our PDF sales in Drivethrurpg to help the earthquake centers. We kindly ask you to join us in this relief effort and make a purchase, knowing that all the money you spend will be donated to this cause. LINK TO THE STORE

We wanted to take a moment to congratulate all of us on the incredible success of our Kickstarter campaign for Silverplate. We have received an overwhelming amount of support and we are truly grateful to each and every one of our backers.

We are excited to announce that we have hit $120K and you have all unlocked the New Spells stretch goal for Silverplate! This means that we will now be adding many more new spells to the Tasty Lands of Silverplate setting book. The spells for Silverplate will be quite interesting and just as juicy as the foodfolk of the realm.

As we near the end of our campaign, we need your help to spread the word and reach even more people. If you believe in our product and what we are trying to achieve, please share our campaign on social media and with your friends and family. Every little bit helps!

Silverplate has just reached $100K! We are incredibly happy to have you on our side as we reach this amount! With this, you have unlocked the Chapter Arts stretch goal for the books. We will now work with even more talented artists for creating masterworks for our chapter intro arts!

Unfortunately, the chapter arts for Silverplate are still being crafted, but fear not! You can still explore the stunning artwork from our Freyja's Tears!
